This condition affects 1 in 6 Australians and is the largest contributor to disability worldwide.
Alongside, smartphone applications (apps) are a promising strategy to deliver evidence-based healthcare, support self-management strategies and encourage active lifestyles.

The My Back Exercise App brings together the best available evidence to support people with low back pain to self-manage their condition and improve their physical function. Fully automated, the app is dynamic, progressive, and goal-oriented. It supports people to engage in tailored, evidence-based exercise programs, in addition to educational, sleep and diet tips. In brief, the My Back Exercise App will help people with low back pain to exercise more, sleep better, and eat better to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
